Ashington Family Fun Day

Following the success of the village event for the Kings coronation, the spirit of celebration continues to thrive in our village. The Ashington Events Hub, a dedicated group of local residents, is thrilled to announce that we are making the Ashington Family Fun Day an annual summer event!

🌞 Calling all Ashington families and friends! 🌞

Prepare to embark on a summer adventure filled with joy, music, and a strong sense of community at the ASHINGTON FAMILY FUN DAY! This event is a proud creation of the Ashington Events Hub, an independent collective formed by the residents of Ashington, who are driven by a shared commitment to bring our community closer together.

📅 Date: 1st June ⏰ Time: 12pm – 5pm 📍 Location: Ashington Recreation Ground

We have a full slate of activities designed to delight every member of the family:

• 🎶 Live music from ‘The Other’s Brothers’, guaranteed to get your feet tapping.
• 🎨 Arts & Crafts stations for those who love to create and decorate.
• 🏏 Rounders for a dash of friendly competition.
• 💪 Tug of War—time to showcase your strength in the ultimate team challenge!
• 🏰 Bouncy Castle to keep the little ones entertained for hours.
• 🍺 Bar & Teas to unwind and catch up with friends and neighbours.
• 🍦 Delicious Ice Creams to cool off.
